I finally handed in my resignation letter at the bank last month, and spontaneously booked a ticket to Singapore before commencing work at my new company. Currently, I’m working at an Oil & Gas firm and to tell you the truth, the environment is so much happier. People are nicer and the salary package is excellent! What more can I ask for?

I spend 4 nights in Singapore. Sadly, it wasn’t enough for me… but I managed to meet up with dee & vi. Which are my closest girlfriends since high school in St Theresa’s convent.

And also spend some time with my grandparents, godma, cousins and god-daughter.

I have to say, this trip back home I ate so much. Just to name a couple…

mee pok..roti kaya…chicken rice…kueh tu tu…beef noodles..and ice milo! Omg it was brilliant!!! And you know what…just 4 days, and I could feel my ass growing.

I weight myself…and I put on some kilos! But who cares! I totally enjoyed this trip!

I managed to visit the newest shopping centre in Singapore too. ION!

I wish PERTH has an ION here!!!

Anyway, on my last night in Singapore my girlfriends & Vijay took me out to have Japanese for dinner.

After dinner, we headed back to Vijay house. It was right in Sentosa Island itself, his place was amazing!

But before heading to his home, they took me to café del mar (I hope I spelled it correctly) and Vijay insisted on getting me this drink called “After burn”.

I’m so not going to have that drink ever again! It was horrible…”after burn” was so terrible that I woke up the next morning having the worst hang over. I was puking my guts out. Even when I drank a cup of water…I puke! I was so afraid to take the flight home feeling like crap so I had to go to the pharmacy to get myself a pack of panadol.

I dare say, I look like shit!

Thank goodness for the drugs, I felt so much better! I managed to shop at the airport! J

Oh how I love chomel.

i can't access xanga.com at work anymore, they blocked it! Arrggg...been so bare without it, i used to log on every morning to read or update my blog but now...i can't!

but the good thing is, i've been so flat out at work.

i'm getting the hang of taking the minutes of meeting, i used to freak out just thinking about it but now i can actually say, i'm pretty all right.

other than work, the weather in Perth is crazy! It's been so cold through the nights & the crazy storm has arrived.

oh i hate the rain! only because i take the train to work & i hate getting pour on...I'm seriously thinking of driving in to work for the winter season.

however, if i was home & it was raining...that would be another story. I would love just staying in bed, reading my books.

so other than work & rain.

it was my 23rd birthday on Thursday! My boss & a couple of managers had flowers delivery to me! they were gorgeous!

and in the evening of my birthday, my family & i had dinner at "cy o'connor village/pub" in canning vale. 

but the offical birthday celebration was the 23rd May 09 at the Raffles Hotel on Canning Hwy!

I had way too much cocktails & it was also a suprise birthday for Alfie. Overall, it was a fantastic night!

I’m addicted to this American TV chick flick, its base on a book series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar. Gossip girls revolve around the live of socialite teenager growing up in New Yoke city, Upper East Side.

Serena van der Woodsen is a pretty young lady.

Serena and her family are prominent in New Yoke society. Her mother Lily van der woodsen married Chuck Bass dad, S also has a younger brother named Eric van der woodsen who suffers from depression.

S longs for real romance and eventually find true love with Dan Humphrey a middle class guy from Brooklyn.

Dan Humphrey is best friends with Vanessa Abrams

and the brother of Jenny Humphrey.

Dan has been head over heels with socialite Serena van der Woodsen for many years, and finally snagged his dream girl in the first season of Gossip Girl. He is a aspiring writer, with a good heart and morals.

Dan maintains his close sibling bonding with sister, Jenny and his father Rufus. He does not really fit in with Nate or Chuck.

Every girl has a best friend, and her was Blair Waldorf,

they have been best friends since kinder. I have to say, Blair has the most amazing fashion sense. I love what she wears! She idolizes Audrey Hepburn, and has a tendency to be bitchy and controlling!

Blair is known as B to Serena, and she is very vain! thought her friendship with S cause her to be insecure at times as a result she is known as Queen B, as she using her charm and wealth to win people over.

Blair dated Nate Archibald since they were in kinder, she wanted to marry him but found out that he had slept with Serena, her best friends, and everything went down hill. The most interesting thing is, Blair & Chuck hook up in the back of chucks limo and lost her virginity to chuck.

Chuck Bass, “I’m Chuck Bass” his trademark line, his wealthy & charming at times. His the most connected kid around over at the Upper East Side, he has a thing for Blair Waldorf and ever since they hook up, he can’t get his mind off her.

His best mate, Nate Archibald also a very wealthy, must I say BEST LOOKING character which I was praying isn’t gay! Nate has been dating Blair since they were in Kinder, they broke up their relationship in season I and ever since then, he has been hooking up with lots of gorgeous chicks!

and the infamous saying in every episode, they end it off by saying xoxo gossip girls, till next time folks.
